Before laptops and typewriters, school children used chalk, feathers and ink to complete their school work. When you visit the School House, try your hand at writing on a chalk board as the ink gets quite messy.
Each child who visits School House will have the opportunity to sign their name on letters using charcoal pencils. They can then "mail" their letters at our Post Office near the General Store. These letters will be sent to local police, firefighters, military, and children in the hospital.
